Battlefield vietnam online help?

Damit is this game even online?! cause i go onto multilayer and gamespy is so stupid i think i have to pay to play. What is this xbox 360! Anyways i wanna play this online cause it is totally awesome. Can someone please help me getting gamespy to work.

Don't use gamespy.

Install the patches you need to update the game and play online.

bfv_v1_2.exe and

battlefield_vietnam_incremental_patch_...

Update punkbuster.

Use the ingame server browser, by clicking on multiplayer & choosing a server.
