Should I get this tattoo or will I regret it?

No negativity please. I'm a very big anime fan and I love kingdom hearts. (pretty much the best ps2 game ever). Anyway, do you think it's smart to get a keyblade as a tattoo or do you think I might regret it? For those of you who are clueless, click the link below to see the pic.

I think that it would make a good one. I myself have 9 tattoos and do not regret a single one. I thought long and hard about each one. Tattoos are something very personal to each of us. There will always be the folks that do not like them and will be rude and nasty to you for having them. When I get rude looks and comments on mine, all I say is "I am tired of you folks looking down on me because of the COLOR of my skin."

I have tattooes 9 so far, I love every one. I spent time to think of what it menat to me on every level of life. My husband shares my love of getting inked and so do my sister. When you get one it means something to you. http://answers.yahoo.com/question/accuse_write?qid=20070208130335AAJ2pnb&kid=FppMC0fKB0wIbkree9qZ&s=comm&date=2007-02-09+20%3A29%3A58&.crumb=

I agree with most people here, if you really like it, then go for it. If this is your first tattoo, then I would suggest to have a temp tattoo done first to see how much you like it. I would also suggest to think of something you might have liked before when you were a little kid, and that now seems very stupid to you or makes no sense. Think how you would feel if you had a tattoo of that one thing on you. Would you hate it? If you think you would, then I don’t recommend you to get the tattoo as you might grow out of that particular object/idea, and then you would regret to have it.

You can also do like many suggested and have a small one done so it can be cover later if you want to. Don’t forget to put any tattoo in a good location that will not affect your ability to find a job. I myself have one on my leg, and I’m planning to have some more, but each will come in as the time is right.

Good Luck

ps-the article is for you to take to the tattoo artist so he/she can make a stencil!

I love tattoos too!

I have 9 total and each one means something special to me.

I don't think you will regret it-- its part of who you are.

Think about it for awhile about the placement and size. When you have made up your mind about that, then you are ready.

Also, just from my own experience, don't rush it. Take your time so that its exactly what you want.

Best of luck!

Personally I don't have a tattoo because if I did get one done I would probably see another design I liked better a week later and then regret it! lol. I think you should do it if you really want to. The picture of the keyblade was ok. Just go to a good tattooist who has a clean shop and get the tattoo where you can't see it because some people don't like tattoos, for job reasons I mean.

I have one tatoo on my lower back. I am glad that I got mine, but I also did research before I got mine. (A sun since my Dad always called me sunshine) Anyway. I wanted to know what a tat would look like if I had more children and the place that they said that would not move or change was my lower back. So there you go. I say go for it, but keep in mind that you may need to hide it at times (for job interviews etc) and since I consider a tatoo a personal thing anyway something that you might only share with those you want to share it with. I just say give serious thought to where you want it, but it sounds like you really do want to get it, so go for it. (If you get it in a place that you can hide it easily you won't have to worry about it when you are 80!) Sounds silly, but I even thought about that!

It depends on how long you have been thinking about it and how old you are. You might grow out of it or just be a fling thing, but if it's really been on your mind and it means something to you personally then go for it.

That is a pretty cool. If you want it, get it. If you are worried you might change your mind, you can always get it somewhere where only you can see it. Good luck!

It's looks a little crazy, I think it would be unique and cute though.

I think that would be way better than what I have; my boyfriends name.

Go for it; you can always have it covered.

Best of Luck

if it is important to you, do it.

I like how anytime you ask about a tattoo - it becomes an opinion board about tattoos and not the question that you asked. I would just make sure that it's something that you're going to like forever because they're on you forever. If you truly love the idea that you had...then go for it.... :)

I think you'll regret it because there is hardly anyway to get rid of tatoo....it'll be there for ever and ever and ever and ever

Tattoo's are very personal, and tell a story for the person who wears them. It is up to you alone whether this tattoo holds a place in your heart forever...

i wouldnt

i dispise tatoo's if you get a tattoo think about it when you get old will you remember why you got it or what it means?

and i cost alot of mony to laser it of and it hurts like heck...

think about it

I have many tattoos myself and I've found that getting something that is symbolic are always the best tattoos. Do not get something that you will grow out of no matter how much you say you never will. Everybody changes. If you insist on getting something that you will potentially regret in the future, make it small enough so you can cover it up easily with another tattoo or by laser removal.

Good luck !

If you have to ask, that means you are having doubts or aren't sure about the design or the idea of getting a tattoo.

I don't think you'd regret it, but you do need more time to decide if its something you should do or not. Don't rush it. But do remember that it has meaning to you and that you like it. Just give it a little more though, I'll think you'll make a good choice.

you'll defenetly regret it just leave your body the way god made it if he made it without tattoos he has a reason for it believe me

as a tattoo artist, i would reccomend letting me redraw it to fit your body shape and size and add something, maybe a ribbon or banner swooping around it. its just to linear. check out tattoojack.deviantart.com free to print and save to take to your artist. also pics of hot tattooed women to get some new ideas. i use it everyday!

Kairi,,,,,I LOVE tattoos....but if you have to ask me if you will regret it.....then you're probably NOT ready for that tattoo

Wait until you're sure it's what you want then go for it.

good luck

If your not sure, wait a month or so, think about it some more. Also if your really dead set on getting it, maybe consider getting it in a spot that you can easily cover. I personally have 24 tattoo's, love each one. But none of them were done with out lots of thought and months of waiting. I have the next three already thought out..... You shouldnt let other people tell you if the one you want is smart or not, its your body, your choice.

"trends" are a bad idea for tattoos, I have 2 and love both, but mine are of something from my childhood and will be in my future. You might not like kindomhearts later on in life...just like I loved Gun&Roses 15 years ago, I thought that I would always love them, but I would hate to have a tattoo now lol If you really want this, you could get a small one that is easy to cover up.... you should remember that it will always define you, people will judge you on this, and it doesn't matter if they should or shouldn't...so think about it for a while longer and if you are still sure, go for it...and then don't regret it. good luck (P.S. it would make a cool tattoo....)

Personally I love tattoos. And I looked at the picture and it's just a key. It's very cute. Where are you going to put it?

that exact key kindof looks... edgy or something. maybe you could take that key to your artist and have them redraw it to look more like a REAL key but nobody can say if you will regret it or not. if you do one day end up regretting it you can also have it covered up with another tattoo or have it removed. i say go for it. i have seen much less thought out tattoos than that in my day!

i personally think that you should get it. the way i figure it is this... even if someday when you are older you decide that you don't like anime or that you just aren't crazy about the tattoo design itself, the tattoo is still symbolic of a certain time in your life when you DID enjoy that sort of thing. If you are really concerned about it though, get it somewhere that clothing can easily cover it and have it done small so there is a possibility of having it covered up with something else later on if that's what you decide. Good luck. If you get it done, I hope ya love it :)

if u do, get it somewhere conspicuous, like ur ankle. u wont regret it then when ur older and ur skin loses the shape it was when u got the tattoo

That's a cool tattoo. I guess it depends upon where you want to put it, how big, so on and so on. I had a tattoo artist recommend putting a first tattoo in a place that is easily concealed by clothing.

This way when you go for job interviews later no one has to know you have it.

Getting a tattoo is all about finding something that has meaning for you. Figure out if this is what you really want and then go for it. If you're looking for a little inspiration I wrote about finding my dream tattoo here: http://www.squidoo.com/free-tattoo-pictures/

I don't see anything wrong with a tattoo like that. However, if you are questioning whether or not you're going to regret it later then I would say give yourself more time. Don't get it until you are 100% sure.

This is not from negativity, dear, but think of how it would look when you got older. I've seen ladies in their 70's who had gotten a tattoo and it was sagging, discolored and not very good to look at. Sure, it's nice when you have young firm skin but it looks awful when you're old and your skin sags.

i think underneath the tattoo you should write, "Because I'm Stupid" so then, in twenty years from now, when you ask yourself, "Why did I get this tattoo?" you can look at it and say,"Oh, that's why! "Cause I'm stupid!" Don't draw on yourself.

I dont think you should. I mean tatoos are cool but you could regret it. Like if you want a job or something, tatoos can make u look unproffesional.
