How to remove tracking cookie?

i've been notified by one of my programs that ive been infected by a tracking cookie and i don't know how to remove it. is there any way to remove it for free? norton says that i'm infected by gamespy.com tracking cookie. and i want to remove it for free. im like freaking out so please tell me anything u can.

A tracking cookie usually saves passwords. Even yahoo uses tracking cookies. If you don't like them Ccleaner is basically a cookie killer

Your Spyware or Anti-virus program can do this. Just run them and they should find it and delete it.
