Question about Age of Empires 2?

I know the zone doesn't host a server for the game anymore. Gamespy has the hosting server now, but whenever i try and download the gamespy client it tells me i cannot access the "DLL LIB" i tried to get the missing file called 'comctl32" but it still didnt download. Anyone know whats wrong with the download, or is there another server i can play on other than gamespy?

aoe 1 and aoe 2 where taken offline a couple of years ago when microsoft sold the online privilages. now theres only one server that does it but it wont work with vista or XP. so it might be better to get aoe 3. but if u check the files the DLL one is a exe so i had to rename it correctly b4 it worked.

From the sounds of that GameSpy problem, you are using Vista.
