How do i play tdu online?

Hi everytime i play test drive unlimited it works perfectly when i enter the authentication code then when i make my nickname i press the gamespy to show i want to play online when i do that it says connecting, after it says authentication code invalid

You Probably have the game disk scratched or somethin'. It happens to me all the time.
