Battle for Middle Earth 2 Help!!?

I bought the game battle for middle earth 2, and i registered with EA and it said it was successful.

But when i tried logging in to gamespy and playing online it said that the serial number failed?

Can anybody help me this?

PS don't ask me to call EA games or something, i live in China

maybe you need to verify your account or something, i really don't know, i also have BFME2 but i never came online....
