Oblivion for Xbox 360...patch removal?

Has anybody removed the patches for Oblivion on 360? The item duplication glitch makes the game much more enjoyable. Will this work?

Anything I should do before trying this patch removal?

i liked that glitch but i beat the game w/ out it. but if u do take the patch then u cant play w/ it online or it will add the patch over. oblivion for some reason loads faster when u play offline anyway
