Battlefield 2 problems?

umm i was just wondering if anyone had problems when you just installed it and you installed gamespy and you start the game and it starts up normally just before the ea games thing comes up it just goes straight back to the desktop... and does it work on vista because i've tried it on two computers( one on xp and one on vista) and they both did exactly the same thing...

i had the same problem on vista. the solution is simple. Run the game as an administrator. You can permanently set the running mode in the properties-advanced-check box that says run as administrator.

make sure your system is good enough. You need atleast a 6 series nvida card, 1 gb ram, and 2 ghz processor to run smoothly let alone at all.

Your computer may be overheating, Do you have fans running in your system?

Try reinstalling it but dont install gamespy. Its not necesssary and its just annoying.
