Stronghold multi-player?

When i try hosting a game in GameSpy it says i cant..."Proxy or Firewall Detected.

GameSpy Arcade has detected that your computer's internal IP address (192.168.1.66) is different than its external IP address (91.140.145.30). This may be caused by firewalls, a NAT proxies, or other unusual network configurations and may prevent you from hosting a game. Please see our Firewall Guide for further information. You can access it by choosing "Help with GameSpy Arcade" from the Help menu."

and i dont know what to do... :S

I tried joining an already hosted game, and when he launches game (Already clicked "I'm Ready").Stronghold Crusader then opens , and it sticks on "Waiting for host..." and there is the problem ...

Hamachi:

I made a network, and my friend joins it (no problem here)

I open Crusader and open Multiplayer, then i choose host

I tell my friend my second Ip address (Hamachi IP adress)

He types it and clicks join, after some while he finds my name and clicks join... then the game stuck :(

even happens when he hosts and i join.. same problem all over again, anyone here can help plz?

The only thing that makes sense is your firewall is blocking Stronghold.

Try going into the program controls of the firewall, and unblocking Stronghold, or using an allow list or something like that. I don't know which firewall you use so I can't be specific.

If you still cannot get those programs to work, there is one more that I use that apparently doesn't have firewall problems.

It's called GameRanger and it has worked for me so far, although it isn't that easy to find a game due to the low amount of players.

If you want to try, the link is in the source, but if not, you gotta check your firewall/anti-virus.
