Can I play Dawn of War 1 on Steam?

Does Soul Storm run through Steam? I ask because I'm at college, and they seem to have blocked any games through Gamespy, such as Sid Meier's Civilization. Or Dawn of War 1. The guys who were there told me the program Steam will work though.

And since it's Spring Break, the IT guys aren't there.

And since I'm too poor to afford a real vacation, I'm here trying to play a computer game to waste time.

And I can't even do that.

Yes, it should run on Steam since they sell it. I don't know any further details about it however, don't know if it's a special version they sell which gives access to the servers.
