Depends on what version you are trying to play. If you have the PC version then there should be some server search software already included in the Halo software that is great for connection to other matches. Gamespy can be used but is not necessary. If you are using the xbox connected to your PC then I would reccomend that you use a program called "Xbox Connect." http://www.xbconnect.com/ this is free software that allows you to search for games with your PC and play them on your xbox.
