How can I play Halo Trial online from my laptop!!!!!!?

I downloaded halo trial from download.com with gamespy and everything that automatically comes, when i play regular mode it works, but when i go to multiplayer mode it won't connect to the server! how do I connect. I have a vista computer and it works there, when i use my vista laptop that runs from a router, it wont work! only on my computer! why not my laptop! how do i make it work!!?? PLease answer this!!!

that is wierd, my brother got it downloaded on his laptop. You should go to a computer store and ask someone. hope this helps!

One of my friends said that the halo trial Multiplayer can only be played on windows xp not vista. I don't know if my friend is lying but I knew he had a vista so, maybe that's the reason.
