How come my 007 nightfire wont run?

It starts to load and then quits to desktop. Ive got all requirments, Had the game for 2 yrs and finally found out I can get in the game by going thru gamespy but the sound is funky.

maybe you'll have to do with the sound problem. or buy a new copy or better game! nightfire isn't the best FPS out there!
