How do people already have halo 3?

I know if you work at bungie or gameing site like major ones(IGN, Gamespy, ect.) and family of those but does anyone know.Did a some stores break release date?I just want to know how they got it before it was supposed to be released.

Well, there is a store called Argos in the UK that sold it early by mistake. Also, there have been reports of some stores sneaking early copies in exchange for a higher price. There have been a few copies sold on eBay as well. Where the sellers got them is unknown at this time. Also, if you see a lot of players online with Halo 3 on Bungie.net, those are the testers from Bungie and Microsoft. Also, some of them are the Bungie employees giving demos throughout the globe during launch. As for the game reviewers, they don't have copies. They just got to play it at some of those demos mentioned earlier and also at Bungie HQ.

And keep in mind that it is not illegal to break a release date. It is however illegal to sell it early for a higher price, so any stores caught doing this will be in some serious trouble.

Some won it early as a prize from a contest. In the U.K. it was sent out early by mistake from a online store. Any other is teft related.

you can buy the game crackdown and it comes with a beta test version of the game which you can play online with, it is limited and won't have all the features of the actual game.

Japan usually sells game and game system earlier than america. so, some people visit japan, buy the game, and return with it to america.

sum people may have copied it or sumthin' and one store in my small town did so maybe sum store in your community did!! good luck gettin' it!!

Sometimes people may get the game earlier because they know someone and that person may sell it to other people or it's possible it's a fake game or something it's a demo or something sometimes you can find it on ebay.
