Gamespot is by far the most comprehensive game review website. They video review games, based on overall feel, graffics, gameplay, Value, and tilt. And they keep you updated what are the best games currently for all the major platforms. And they have a quite humourous crew to review them.
gametrailers.com , they have many videos which you can't find in many sites. http://answers.yahoo.com/question/accuse_write?qid=20070205082239AAPqmvY&kid=MJtLHmTVCXCn1.SV09IO&s=comm&date=2008-07-23+14%3A35%3A03&.crumb=
IGN. The are pretty good IMO.
I don't know. I use Gamespot, but I just looked at Gamespy's site. They seem to have just as popular a PageRank as Gamespot (that means they're similar in popularity). I would say choose whichever one you want. I've used Gamespot and it's been great. If you're already familiar with one or the other, just stick with it so you don't have to learn how to navigate through a whole new site.
I don't agree with Gamespot. They only gave Twilight Princess a score of 8.8 :(
