Wjat ports in my firewall do I have to open for GameSpy to work well with my FSX Multiplayer.?

Sometimes my simulator disconects from gamespy when flying on multiplayer.I want to know what ports I have to open or should be opened?

ports can be different for every computer

I do not know exactly which ports but follow this checklist and it may lead you somewhere.

1- you must have a legal copy of the game, if it is pirated, it is normal that abnormal behavior will occur and you will likely be unable to fix them

2- make sure your firewall discriminates FSX and lets all data for FSX pass

3-check your anti virus, or similar program and make sure FSX is on the safe list or allowed list

4-sometimes, these things happen. it happens to me but not when I'm flying

5- it could be a router problem. in which case it would be a local problem. your computer could've disconnected from the internet at your house. check router settings. I am not a internet expert so ask elsewhere for that

please, this aircraft section of yahoo answers are no place for such in detail, precise questions nearly totally unrelated to aircraft.

the problem you are experiencing is a network problem. therefore ask this question in the computers, internet section and//or the video game section.

even better, ask this question in a forum sepecific to your game.

here's a good one
