Can my friend get on his Xbox 360 / Playstation 3 and play against me on my pc online ?
With pretty much any game and yes probaly via gamespy or kali, etc...
I've heard about this. I know that on PC gamer, a magazine i used to subscribe to, was talking about how this MMORPG was going to be on the xbox 360 and people from the computer could play with them simultaneously. I'm sure that the game has already came out. Just depends on the game.
I know that they also played "Halo 1 - Hang 'em High Team Deathmatch", 2 guys from PC's and 2 from the xbox. The PC team won.

The only games I know of that have this feature are Final Fantasy XI Online - a MMORPG, and Shadowrun - a FPS.
