Halo Combat Evolved?

I downloaded the demo for the pc and when i try to get to the multiplayer it says cannot contact gamespy master server! What do i do plz help

At the moment it seems that the Gamespy Server is down, it's nothing to do with your computer. You can go on direct IP multiplayer though, but you have to actually know the person's IP adress.
