What to do when some one gave me a computer vires?

almost everyone knows gamespy well i hate them they sold me a halo game for pc and i signed up for free updates well they gave me a computer vires i got rid of it but i don't know what damage it did it was a mediem level what did it do i am kinda scared hunderds of people and hackers have personal information should i sue if i find any thing wrong right and how much was damaged are sent all over the world Help

get kaspersky or windows defender and get it cleaned

Norton, AVG , Avast are free antivirus software. Ad-aware, Ewido are free spyware removers. You can download free softwares at http://fixit.in/antivirus.html and http://fixit.in/spywareremover.html . Did you buy the game over the internet for a dramatically reduced price? If so, it was probably a pirated copy, and that's probably where the virus came from. I'd download the spyware version of AVG and/or spybot search and destroy (google them to find the websites). They can help you remove the viruses. Pestpatrol.com can also help. Make sure you have a good Anti-virus scanner on your computer. If all else fails, reformat your hard-drive. That will get rid of EVERYTHING (just back up your data first!)
